Pro Bono

I believe there is a real risk of injustice unless a party without funding is professionally represented

In particular cases I undertake pro bono work.  I cannot accept instructions directly but I will endeavour to reply to Emails (probono@medneg.co.uk) promptly.

I will accept instructions from solicitors to act in those cases falling within my expertise and where I believe there is a real risk of injustice unless a party without funding is professionally represented.

Sadly children die as a consequence of poor medical care.  Parents are not interested in money: they want accountability and to know that lessons will be learned such that other children can be saved.  Representation at the inquest is important if all the issues are to be explored properly.

My most well publicised pro bono case was the fight for and achievement of justice for the deceased pilots Flt Lts Jonathan Tapper and Rick Cook in the Mull of Kintyre RAF Chinook ZD 576 Disaster on 2nd June 1994.
